About Xanthan Gum (Important for Consistency)
The recommended 2%–3% xanthan gum ratio is based specifically on the xanthan gum used by Fresh Jagua.
Like any natural ingredient, xanthan gum can vary significantly between manufacturers in strength, hydration rate, and viscosity. This means that when using a different brand, you may need to slightly adjust the amount to achieve the desired gel consistency.

first batch of hengua created this insanely dark stain. i used jagua juice in place of lemon juice! The rest of my recipe is top secret lol. i also did a batch of traditional henna and painted some of that too.
