Organic BAQ Fresh Rajasthani Henna

This is my first batch with this brand and I love it so far! It gives a very consistent and smooth paste and a beautiful stain!

I used this henna for dying the grey on my hair and so far it worked wonders, here's how I did it. I mixed one package of the Jagua henna I bought with 3/4 tbsp of tea tree oil, and I boiled hibiscus tea leaves in distilled water for 20 minutes to get a deep dark red maroon color, I let the water cool overnight and poured in this tea water to mix the henna with until it came to a mashed potato consistency. Covered henna mixture with a plastc bag, snugged down right on top of henna, not on top of container. Let it sit in warm area for about 19 hours, you don't need to let it sit that long, 6 to 8 hours is good, I was just tired and went to bed. Then I put the henna mixture all over my hair using gloves and brush, covered my whole head and hair top to bottom, put a plastic bag wrapped around my head tight and let it sit for 2.5 hours. Then I made a nice soapy bath, soaked my hair into the water and sat in this mixture while my hair washed out the henna, it was like I was at the spa, sitting in this luxurious henna in the bathtub, so nourishing. Then I put conditioner in my hair, brushed my hair out and left the conditioner in my hair. My hair, the grey, turned out to be a orange color and I suspect it turned into a nice middark auburn. I will mix it with Indigo on my next go. The tea tree oil helps the henna leach out it's color, lavender oil works too, and not all oils work, but these two work. Next time I won't use the oils cause you don't need it for hair staining. See picture of the color of my hair immedietely after I washed out the henna. I LOVE your product, IT WORKS. I've used henna's for years on and off, could never find a good product that works and doesn't rip my hair out.

Did stain well at all allowed 18 hrs for dye to release and stain was not great. After leaving henna on skin 24 hrs.

Nice dark stain!

The henna powder I bought was horrible! It had an awful orange stain like kool-aid stains the skin! Very strange! My neighbors from Afghanistan also found it to be of awful standards! I was very disappointed!

Ive stuck with the same recipe fot years now and i always buy this henna powder and it has never let me down!

I've been buying this henna for about 2 years now, and honestly have never felt the need to try other brands because my stain is always wonderful. I'm a full time henna artist and make my mixture with lime juice, brown sugar, water, and essential oils, never fails. This stain was still darkening at this point, but you can already see how rich the color is.

The consistency is amazing and it leaves a really great stain.
